Want to learn German, explore Berlin’s coolest spots and make new friends? This camp gives you all the buzz of the city - plus a calm, green home base where you can relax and recharge. Bonus: you can choose between 4 or 5 German lessons per day, depending on how intensive you want your course to be.
Located in the upscale Westend district, just 20 minutes from downtown Berlin, the modern campus offers great sports fields and a comfortable guesthouse. You’ll stay with teens from around the world who are also learning German, making it super easy to meet new friends.

Location:
Our summer camp is held at a Youth Sports Training Center with a modern campus, including a guesthouse, just west of Berlin’s city center in the upscale Westend district. Attractions next door:
- Berlin's iconic Olympic Stadium with its fantastic outdoor swimming pool
- Waldbühne: Berlin’s legendary open-air concert venue, where stars like The Rolling Stones and the Berlin Philharmonic perform.
Famous Berlin highlights, including Schloss Charlottenburg, Museum Island, and the Brandenburg Gate, are only a short ride away.
Campus & AccommodationThe Berlin Westend Summer Camp hosts up to 60 teens from 30+ countries. After enrolling, you’ll get a password to join our online community and start connecting with other teens attending our summer camps in Germany!
Campus highlights:

Intensive German courses
This is the only summer camp in Berlin that offers a choice of 4 or 5 German lessons per day. All other summer camps in Berlin include 4 German lessons per day.
- Two options: 20 or 25 lessons per week (45 minutes each)
- Class times: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (4 lessons/day) or 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (5 lessons/day)
- Levels: Beginners, Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced
- Flexible duration starting from 1 week
- Maximum 15 students per class in international groups
Activities & Excursions:
- 2 activities daily: sports and socializing on campus, exploring Berlin, a cycling tour along the Berlin Wall, boating on the River Spree, and discovering the city’s most iconic sights
- 1 full-day excursion per week, e.g. to Potsdam and Castle Sanssouci
Supervision
Members of GLS staff stay with you in the summer school and take care of you.
