Summer Camp for Teens (14 - 17)
Want to learn German, explore Berlin’s coolest spots and make new friends? This camp gives you all the buzz of the city - but with a calm, green home base where you can relax, play sports, and recharge.
Set in the upscale Westend district, just 20 minutes from downtown Berlin, the modern campus features great sports fields and a comfortable guesthouse. You’ll stay with teens from around the world who are also learning German. It’s a super social environment - easy to make friends, easy to feel at home.
Choose between 4 or 5 fun, interactive German lessons per day in small international groups. Daily activities in Berlin are included, along with a full-day weekend excursion (for example, to Potsdam), all guided by our team, who are always there to support you.

Our summer camp is on the modern campus of a guesthouse for German school clubs, just west of Berlin’s city center in the upscale Westend district. You’re super close to the Olympic Stadium, and Berlin highlights like Schloss Charlottenburg, Museum Island, and the Brandenburg Gate are just a short ride away. It’s the perfect spot to explore the city by day and come back to a chill, friendly home base.
Campus & Accommodation
The Berlin Westend Summer Camp hosts up to 60 teens from 30+ countries. After enrolling, you’ll get a password to join our online community and start connecting with other teens attending our summer camps in Germany!
Campus highlights:
- On-site modern guesthouse accommodation
- Bright, well-equipped classrooms
- Cafeteria with terrace
- Sports fields for streetball and soccer
- Indoor sports hall for all kinds of activities
Accommodation:
- Guesthouse on campus: 2 - 3 bed rooms with own shower and WC
Full board in the cafeteria
Intensive German courses
- Two options: 20 or 25 lessons per week (45 minutes each)
- Class times: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (4 lessons/day) or 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (5 lessons/day)
- Levels: Beginners, Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced
- Flexible duration starting from 1 week
- Maximum 15 students per class in international groups
Activities & Excursions:
- 2 activities daily: sports and socializing on campus, exploring Berlin, a cycling tour along the Berlin Wall, boating on the River Spree, and discovering the city’s most iconic sights
- 1 full-day excursion per week, e.g. to Potsdam or Babelsberg
Supervision
Members of GLS staff stay with you in the summer school and take care of you.
