German Levels and How Long It Takes to Reach Them
Our German courses follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR):
- A = Elementary (Beginner)
- B = Intermediate
- C = Advanced
This means you’ll always know your level, what to expect in class, and which exams you can take at GLS Berlin. While the free online test gives you a quick estimate, your final course placement is based on a detailed placement test, ensuring you learn with students at the right level
| Level of German | Intensive Course (20 lessons/week) | Super Intensive (30 lessons/week) | Exams @ GLS Berlin | |
