1. Berlin = cool

Berlin is the coolest city in Germany - very international, a bit bohemian and full of culture. Berlin has 3 million inhabitants, but it is a safe city and full of lakes and rivers. We cooperate with schools in different districts of Berlin, with host families near by.
The big PLUS in Berlin is, that GLS is here, too: You can talk to your GLS counselor anytime, visit our office, and - if you want to - you can book additional German courses at the GLS German language school (in the evenings or during holidays). And if you don´t feel like spending all the weekends with your host family, you can join the language students of the GLS German Language School on their weekend excursions.
2. Bremen = sophisticated

Bremen in the north of Germany (google map) is a hanseatic and patrician city like the one Thomas Mann wrote aboute in his famous novel "Buddenbrooks". Bremen is a perfect choice, if you like urbane surroundings, but still want to be able to reach a lot on foot - Bremen definitely is a very walkable city. We will place you in a school within the city limits of Bremen, and you will have a local tutor there, too: In Bremen we cooperate with a well travelled team, who have an office in the city center and will take care of you once you are in Bremen.
3. Munich = classic

Munich is a very traditional German city - wealthy, a bit conservative, with a rural and familial feeling. Unlike Berlin and Bremen, the schools we cooperate with are not in the city center of Munich, but in suburbs within the Miesbach region (google map) - so this option is great if you like to be NEAR a big city while living in a small town or village. In Munich we cooperate with Frau Dr. Wiebalck-Zahn, who is also director of the GLS summer camps in and around Munich. Frau Dr. Wiebalck-Zahn will tutor you once you are in Bavaria.
