The GLS high school team in Berlin takes care of international students attending a high school in Germany. If you come to Germany, you´ll meet them all in person at the Berlin-weekend.

Was born and raised in Berlin. She studied art history and Spanish at Humboldt University in Berlin. She completed an exchange year in Uruguay and an internship in Buenos Aires. She speaks German, Spanish, and English.

... grew up in eastern Westphalia. She studied library science and ethnology in Berlin and Amsterdam. She has worked in various Berlin publishing houses as well as in international development projects. She speaks German and English.
Eugenia Speyer

... grew up in Buenos Aires and has lived outside Argentina since she was 17. She studied acting in Vienna and Berlin, and earned her certification as a German-as-a-Foreign-Language teacher at the University of Jena in Germany. She also completed studies in intercultural economics in Paris. She is currently completing her Master’s studies in Marketing and Communication. Eugenia has lived in Madrid, Dubai, Mexico, England, and Paris. She has worked as a German teacher at the Goethe Institut in Paris and in Buenos Aires. She also formerly worked as a Cabin Crew Member for Emirates and communications manager for Germany. She speaks German, English, and Spanish (and understands French!)
Jana Böhner

…originally comes from Thuringia in Germany. She completed her studies in Hospitality in Mainz and worked for five years in this field. She later studied Nutritional Science at the Münster University of Applied Sciences. She has also completed training as a German-as-a-foreign-language teacher. Jana speaks German, English, and Portuguese.

…originally comes from Munich and studied English linguistics at Ludwig-Maximilian University there. She has lived abroad in Calgary, Canada. Sonja has worked in various professional areas, including sales, property management, and event management. She speaks German, English, and Polish.
Alisa Aldinger

... grew up in Saarland in Germany. Following her graduation from school, she participated in a one-year overseas voluntary service program in Mexico. She then completed a degree in cultural studies at the University of Freiburg, and lived in South Africa for six months as part of a research project. She speaks German, Spanish, English, and Russian, and has basic knowledge of Portuguese and French.
