The Good & the Bad - what did you like best? What least?
Makes learning and everyday life in Berlin fun and motivating!
The difference between teachers can bi big, but when looking back at those who were good, they really made a significant difference to my time at GLS. They made it both fun, interesting, and exciting going to class everyday. Even though its embarrassing to say, they made you it worth getting up in the morning! Working outside the textbook, encouraging to read outside class and to hold presentations was something I learned a lot from. For those of us who are staying longer than a month or less, continuation is gold. That means, not having 4 different teachers within one month... It would be great if the teachers were more encouraged to teach outside the textbook (something than many already do, as mentioned). Using literature is great, for both grammar and vocab, and it's great for discussing in class.
Both the Büro and the receptionists are very helpful, and the teachers are usually up for helping you outside the classroom!
Your recommendations for other students
I would (and already have) reccomended GLS as both a "holiday"-course school and a school to choose a full-time learning for those who want to study in Germany.
