Bilingual Summer Camp for Teens (16–18)

Want a summer that’s creative, international, and 100% Berlin? Berlin College is the place to be! Our 16,000 m² campus is a green oasis in the heart of the city, just north of Museum Island. Step outside and you’re in the middle of Berlin’s trendiest scene: street cafés, indie shops, clubs, and designer spots.

Choose German or English, go for an official telc German certificate if you want, and learn alongside teens from 40+ countries - living, hanging out, and discovering Berlin together.

Afternoon classes leave your mornings and evenings free for GLS-guided adventures, creative workshops, and exploring Berlin’s iconic sights like the Berlin Wall and Brandenburg Gate, plus street-art hotspots, rivers, and parks.

Location:

Set on the GLS campus in the heart of Berlin’s trendy Prenzlauer Berg, the location is surrounded by cafés, galleries, and shops, with major attractions such as Museum Island, the Brandenburg Gate, and the historic city center all within easy reach.

Campus & Accommodation

The Berlin College Summer Camp welcomes up to 180 teens from 50+ countries. After enrolling, you’ll get a password to join our online community and start connecting with other teens attending our summer camps in Germany!

Campus highlights:

  • 16,000 m² campus with 60 classrooms and on-site student residence
  • Park-like garden, lounge, café, and barbecue area
  • Volleyball and basketball courts, plus a pool table for downtime fun

Accommodation (including breakfast & dinner):

  • On campus: 3–5 bed rooms with private bathroom
  • Hostel (walking distance): 2-bed rooms with shared bathroom


Language Courses (German or English)

  • 20 lessons/week (45 minutes each)
  • Afternoon classes: 3:00–6:15 pm
  • Levels: German: A1 - C1 (beginners 5 JUL) | English: A2–C1
  • Flexible duration starting from 1 week
  • Max. 15 students per class in international groups

Optional Add-On:
Telc German Certificates B1, B2, C1: Prep Course & Exam

How can a telc German certificate benefit you? It provides internationally recognized proof of your German skills and can open doors to future studies and career opportunities that require verified German proficiency. GLS is also an official telc German testing center.

  • 10 extra lessons per week focused on exam preparation
  • Class time: 1:15 pm – 6:15 pm
  • Fixed 3-week program
  • Exam takes place the Saturday after the course ends


Activities & Excursions:

  • 2 daily activities (morning & evening), e.g.: city walks, creative workshops, cycling along the Berlin Wall Way, boat trips on the River Spree, open-air cinema, guided pub tours, and visits to Berlin’s most iconic sights
  • 1 full-day trip per week (e.g., Potsdam, Dresden, nearby lakes)
  • Photo story by a former student

Note: This program is designed for mature, independent teens (no 24-hour supervision).
