Since when do you work with GLS? How did it start?

We have been working with GLS Berlin since 2004. 

We were immediately impressed by its academic quality, beautiful campus and professional approach. 

Over the years, GLS has become one of our longest-standing partners, and we have always appreciated the excellent relationship we have built with their team.

Please describe your agency

Excellence Linguistique is a Swiss boutique educational consultancy specialising in premium language stays abroad. Since 2008, we have been providing highly personalised guidance to teenagers, university students and adults looking for the right language programme.

Unlike large organisations, we take the time to understand each client's objectives, personality, academic background and expectations before recommending a programme. We carefully select every partner school based on quality, student welfare and the overall learning experience.

From the initial consultation to the student's return home, we offer personalised support every step of the way. Our philosophy is simple: every student is unique, and every language stay should be too.

Why do your clients book Berlin (and not other places in Germany)?

What was the last time you met GLS staff? On a fair, a IALC roadshow...?

The last time we met the GLS team was during their visit to our offices in Switzerland. We also had the opportunity to visit the GLS campus in Berlin, which left a lasting impression on us.

Seeing the school firsthand allowed us to fully appreciate the exceptional quality of the campus, the learning environment and the professionalism of the entire team. We believe that visiting our partner schools is essential, as it enables us to provide our students with first-hand advice and recommendations based on our own experience rather than simply relying on brochures.

Your impression of Berlin, especially the GLS district Prenzlauer Berg?

Prenzlauer Berg is one of Berlin's most attractive neighbourhoods. It is safe, lively and full of cafés, restaurants, boutiques and green spaces. 
The atmosphere is relaxed and international, making it a wonderful environment for international students. The GLS campus blends perfectly into this vibrant district while offering a peaceful and inspiring place to study.

What do you like/dislike about GLS?

We particularly appreciate the quality of teaching, the professionalism of the staff and the impressive campus, which is quite unique among language schools. 

We also value GLS's continuous commitment to innovation and maintaining high academic standards. Above all, we appreciate working with a team that is responsive, reliable and genuinely committed to student satisfaction.
