Wittenberg was home to Martin Luther who revolutionized the Christian church, and the Renaissance painter Lucas Cranach.

Wittenberge is about an hour by train southeast of Berlin, and by going there you´ll also see lots of the former east German republic GDR. We will show you the house where Martin Luther lived and also the church, where the very first protestant mass happened. (online guide).
