Learn German @ Munich Family

This program is perfect if you like it idyllic and comfortable: You stay with a German family and go to school in a Munich suburb named Holzkirchen. Holzkirchen is a serene place, but the city train will take you into bustling Munich within just 20 minutes. The school is situated right next to the station where trains leave for Munich. The building used to be a post office, and it has been beautifully rebuilt into a school. German classes take place in the morning, and some of your free time after class you´ll spend with your host family. You´ll never be the "only child": either the families have kids or another GLS student will share a family with you. The school organizes several after class activities, and of course we´ll take you to Munich, too! (Munich website)

In a Munich suburb named Holzkirchen, 12.000 inhabitants and 20 minutes south of Munich
Facilities:
beautiful school building in Bavarian style, with 7 classrooms
German course:
- 20 lessons à 45 minutes/week with a max of 12 students per class
- 3 levels: elementary, intermediate, advanced (please note: no beginners)
- international classes with students from up to 40 countries
Accommodation:
Host family, double room, full board. 10 to 40 minutes commuting time to school.
Activities & Excursions:
- 3 activities per week in Holzkirchen
- 1 half-day and 1 full-day excursion to places outside Holzkirchen, e.g. Munich, Lake Tegernsee, Tegernsee
Supervision
The family you stay at takes care of you, and of course your teachers are there for you, too.
